Picote Smart Spider

Price range: €485.00 through €495.00

The Picote Smart Spider is a highly efficient tool for cleaning fragile or damaged pipes, including pipes with missing bottoms, where traditional chains would be too aggressive.

Description

Have you ever found yourself working in a delicate metal pipe where the pipe wall is only 1mm thick? Maybe you came across a pipe which has a broken bottom, or a pipe with a hole in it.

This task will require a specialized tool because the pipe wall might not withstand the individual blows of a regular chain knocker.  Even the circular chain with its fixed diameter could be too aggressive for very fragile pipes.

The Smart Spider is designed for challenging pipe conditions such as thin metal pipes, pipes with broken bottoms, or sections with holes where standard descaling tools may fail or cause damage.

Instead of rigid chains, it uses a series of flexible fingers supported by rubber elements. This allows the tool to remain effective while adapting gently to irregular or weakened pipe walls. It prevents excessive impact, reducing the risk of further pipe damage.

It is also highly effective for removing fats, oils, and grease. The flexible fingers act like a stiff comb, cutting through hardened deposits efficiently.

The tool is safe for use in PVC pipes and can easily navigate 90° bends.

When the fingers wear out, the tool can be rebuilt using spare parts, making it a cost-effective solution for long-term use.
