Reinstate junctions or grind up solid blockages in seconds. The Croco mole is our most aggressive cutting head and is perfect for removing tree roots in pipes.

Description

The Croco Mole is designed for fast and efficient removal of tough blockages and tree roots.

It has a hole right through the center that allows the flexible shaft to pass through the tool in two different configurations:

  • When you put the shaft into the Mole from the back of the tool, then you can cut in a forward direction when you PUSH the shaft.
  • When you insert the flexible shaft through the front of the tool then you can achieve forward cutting by PULLING the shaft.

The cutting edges are positioned at both the front and rear of the head, meaning the tool remains effective in both directions. Once a blockage is penetrated, the Croco Mole continues grinding material on the return stroke, significantly speeding up removal work.

It is suitable for PVC since the hard metal bits are only focused on the front and rear of the head, helping maintain cutting efficiency while reducing unnecessary contact with the pipe wall.

This tool allows you to grind up both big roots, and the smaller hair like roots faster than a standard chain since there is no chains which could get trapped between the chain links.

Use the Croco mole in conjunction with the Circular Chain, a regular chain without a drill head, or even the Nylon brushes as the solution to a wide range of applications.

Please note that the number of hard metal panels vary depending on the size you choose.

  • Bore Diameters: 30mm, 40mm, 50mm
  • Compatible Shaft Sizes: 8mm, 10mm, 12mm
  • Cutting Material: Hardened metal cutting segments (front & rear placement)
  • Pipe Compatibility: Suitable for PVC, metal and ceramic pipes

The Croco Mole is used for aggressive pipe cleaning and restoration tasks where standard tools are not sufficient.

  • Blockage removal
  • Tree root removal
  • Reinstating junctions

Put the shaft into the Mole from the back of the tool, to cut in a forward direction when you PUSH the shaft.

When you insert the flexible shaft through the front of the tool then you can achieve forward cutting by PULLING the shaft.
