The Heavy-Duty X-Tip Chain is designed for professional drain cleaning of metal and ceramic pipes. We do not recommend using these chains in PVC pipes, as they will damage the pipe wall in a short period of time.

1. Select the appropriate chain based on pipe diameter and shaft thickness.
2. Attach the chain securely to the flex shaft using the set screws.
3. Insert the tool into the pipe and gradually increase rotation speed.
4. Allow the X-shaped teeth to break down roots, scale, or hardened blockages.
5. Use controlled movement to avoid excessive force, especially in bends.
6. If using the optional drill head, exercise caution around 90° bends due to its aggressive cutting action.
7. Flush the pipe thoroughly after cleaning to remove debris.

For best results, use with 10mm or 12mm shafts to ensure sufficient torque for heavy-duty applications.
